Hi everyone

Art in the Gardens went really well :) the weather was kind to us all and stayed sunny and dry .

My new range of Meadowlands Paintings got a great response and many of them have found new homes in different parts of Sheffield and Birmingham.

Cards and small prints were selling fast and I am pleased to say are now available in several shops and galleries.

I’m off to London late October to deliver paintings to The Norman Plastow Gallery in Wimbledon so if any of you are near there please pop in and take a look. The exhibition runs from Friday 6th Nov - Sunday 16th Nov and 20% of all sales go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

I’ve got lots of exciting things in the pipeline at the moment :)  My designs are being considered for use on placemats, napkins and coasters but its all too early to know yet.

I am hoping next year to be travelling around the country and exhibiting a lot more but I will let you know more next time….fingers crossed.

Take a look at my Facebook page and please give me a like :) I am just about getting used to posting regularly its Wendy Carlton Artist. You can also look at the photos to the left.

Welcome to my first ever blog :) I’m hoping to keep this updated monthly…..more if I’ve got something important to tell you!!!

Firstly I hope you like my new website, if you find any teething problems or there is something you want to know please get in touch with me at

At the moment I am working hard for Art in the Gardens (AIG) at Sheffield’s Botanical Gardens. Please pop in and see me if you go, I’m in the central dome in the Pavilion (my 12th year) September 5th/6th .It’s a huge space and perfect for my paintings as it is full of lush greenery. I’m going to fill it with my usual splash of colour but with a lot of new work this year!!!

I’ve also got paintings on the wall in The Summerhouse a new and exciting restaurant opening in Dore, August bank holiday weekend. I will be changing them monthly so there will always be something new to see (and eat).

I’m hoping to expand the gifts section of my website by joining where my images can be printed onto everything from phone cases and cushions to duvet covers and bags.

As far as I know my next exhibition will be in Wimbledon in November at the Norman Plastow Gallery where 20% of all proceeds go to the Macmillan Charity.

Please keep an eye on my website for exhibitions next year as I will be doing a lot more

I’d better stop blogging now or I may not have much to tell you next month :)
